7 steps from listing to sold
100% Canadian Business, Since 1997!

Listing a Property is Easy with Us!

Follow these 7 steps to list your property, reach buyers across Canada, and stay in control from start to finish.

Step 1: Build Your Listing

Take complete control! Your listing management screen gives you 100% control over your FSBO listing and your data at all times, 24/7.

This is where you create the main property listing that your syndicated listings will be linked to, including your REALTOR.ca listing, if you are also using our flat fee MLS® System service.

Step 3: Price your Property with Confidence!

Pricing your property accurately is really important!

That's why we provide a FREE, human-generated market analysis to eligible properties with our REALTOR.ca combo package! (If you chose a different package or your property type is not eligible, you can purchase a report instead.)

We provide CMA reports within 12–24 hours.

Step 4: Fill out REALTOR.ca Documents (if applicable)

If you chose the MLS® System package, our skilled assistants are available to help you with the various documents needed to post your property on REALTOR.ca in a professional and accurate manner online.

The MLS® System listing forms are completed online using our secure, proprietary listing system.

Step 5: Show your Home

As soon as we upload your listing to the MLS® System (if you purchased the combo package), the exposure your property receives on REALTOR.ca and our social media and syndication feeds is often instant.

Your home will be seen by the local REALTORS® through the Private Client Services notification system, and on hundreds of websites, including REALTOR.ca and ForSaleByOwner.ca.

Step 6: Receive Offers

We provide our customers with PDF sales contracts for each province. You have 2 options for handling your offers:

Option 1 — Have the buyers and buyers' agents submit their offers directly to you for acceptance.

Option 2 — Have the buyers and buyers' agents submit their offers directly to your lawyer for acceptance.

Working with Buyer's Agents

Step 7: Close the Deal

We recommend that you engage with a real estate lawyer or notary, prior to going live on our system. Many sellers receive an offer within a day or so of listing and end up scrambling to find a lawyer on short notice. This can be avoided with a simple phone call to a law firm or notary in advance.

The final step in selling a home is when your lawyer/notary begins the "conveyancing" process.
